The Pousada Aguapé is located 160 km from Campo Grande, the capital of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. Whether during the rain or drought season, the lush area formed by typical wetland vegetation and open pastures with patches of stunted vegetation (the cerrado), lakes, lowlands, pond outlets, and the Aquidauana river with its exuberant vegetation, enables visitation throughout the year.

The pousada itself has 14 rooms equipped with air-conditioning and ceiling fans.

The pousada has a restaurants that serves delicious meals in the morning, afternoon and evening.

The pousada has a swimming pool, sand volleybal court and soccer field.

Furthermore services are a landing-strip for small aircraft, satellite dish and cable TV and an infrastructure for various activities and tours.

The following tours and activities will be scheduled at the pousada: trail riding, boat rides, trekking, piranha fishing, photo safari, nocturnal viewing of caymans and birdwatching.
