The Guanavenas Pousada Jungle Lodge, founded in 1980 and located in the heart of the Amazon Region, has all the facilities and comfort of a first class hotel, but with one difference – it is inside the jungle.

The Guanavenas Pousada Jungle Lodge has 70 (seventy) triple rooms with exactly the same level of comfort: all of them have air-conditioning, private bathroom with electric shower, mini refrigerator and private veranda.

The lodge offers a restaurant which serves delicious regional meals.

Leisure facilities are two swimming pools and a game room.

Furthermore facilities are a 30 meters high observation tower and a long distance communication network.

The Lodge offers a variety of jungle excursions to experience the magic and mystery of the largest tropical forest and the biggest volume of fresh water on the planet. You can go piranha fishing, hiking in the forest, visit "Igapos" (flooded jungle) and the local inhabitants "caboclos" (houses) and by night you can go "alligator flashing". All excursions are lead by a bilingual experienced guide.
